Peer endorsements are one way to show you are connected in the legal community and can add some points to your Avvo Rating. This video will walk those of you who are new to Avvo through the steps necessary to endorse an attorney on Avvo. We end with step by step instructions for how to solicit Avvo peer endorsements of your own.

With our latest update to Avvo, we made some changes to Avvo Answers to improve the experience for both consumers and lawyers. Namely, we now close questions after 5 days, ensuring consumers get the answers they need quickly and increasing the likelihood that an answer will convert a questioner into a potential client. This video will walk you through how to find questions on Avvo to answer and how to sign up for e-mail alerts of new questions in your practice area:

Last week we launched a redesign of Avvo.com and several new features for lawyers and consumers. Most notable is improved search functionality, a “Claim by Phone” capability for lawyers and video Legal Guides. This is the first in a series of short videos we’re working on to answer some of the most commonly asked questions we get to Customer Care.

This video will walk you through the steps of how to sign-up and receive daily notifications of new questions posted in your practice area(s). Along with helping people with their legal issues, answering questions can also bring more visitors to your profile and earn you contributor points. Top contributors are featured on the Leaderboard and the Avvo Answers homepage.
