I am stunned to find out about Mr. Dinday’s death. Mr. Dinday had responded to a post that I placed and he was right on key! His response was greatly appreciated. Not even my own attorney saw what he did. I was hoping he would respond to a new post I just placed which is how I found out about his untimely passing. My deepest condolences to his family.

When I was in highschool, Mr. Dinday offered to let me shadow him for a day of lawyering in San Francisco. I will never forget it. I was very intimidated, and he was so kind to me. Took me to a really nice Italian place for lunch, answered all my silly questions.

A great man, who was LOVED in his community.

Today, I learned of Mr Dinday’s passing. His articles were very much so informative in regards to my case that included Factual Innocence. His public service will be greatly missed. I couldn’t have done this on my own. Bless you Brian Dinday.

One week before Mr. Dinday’s death, which I just learned of, I contacted him to see if I could hire him to assist with a factual innocence motion my attorney was preparing. He was a noted expert in this area. He actually provided invaluable advice and wrote a letter to my attorney with suggestions without even charging for it. The motion was granted last month and I was just about to write to him to thank him for these efforts that contributed to this success when I read about this tragic news. What a nice man. This was absolutely terrible and I am so sorry to hear about it.

Dear Mark,

This is so heartbreaking, I also loved Brian’s warm smile as he answered questions on AVVO. Brian really stood out with his brilliant answers.

He was the consummate attorney. As I recently hired him to FIX something that others had messed. unfortunately he did not get the opportunity to complete what he had started.

I feel so much pain for him and his lovely family. This is just tragic I pray he is at peace.
