Asking lawyers to wear your badge, despite the SEO and brand awareness it achieves, can be viewed as over reaching and/or a return to the dotcom era.

Kevin – the badge is something we’ve had on the product roadmap for a while. I started to notice “homemade” Avvo badges around the web (you can still find some of them: http://lingenbrink.com/ , http://palacelaw.com/ , http://www.lakelaw.com/ , http://www.motorcyclepersonalinjury.com/) We thought it would be best to make it easier for lawyers to add this type of information, as well as to standardize it.
