Your attorney should be listed on Avvo. If you send me the name of the attorney I will try to them. Sometimes the name an attorney uses with the state bar is different from the name that he is generally known by, which is why you may not have found him.

Avvo is unique from other sites in that it does offer a rating. However, I am concerned that my Bankruptcy Attorney is not listed or rated on this site. This Attorney has been practicing law in Texas for several years and was also a Bankruptcy Judge. I guess every practicing Attorney is not listed or rated on your site, correct?

Hi Mark,

It’s quite easy to search by lawyer name on Avvo. On the home page, click on the “Lawyer name” tab just beneath the “Search for your lawyer” text. You can add first name, last name, or both.

How about a search by name? In looking to provide feedback on the many lawyers I’ve work, it is time consuming to scroll through all the names.

Dear Mark,

I would use Avvo compared to other legal referrals out there presently. I am talking from experience and the ratings seem to reflect close to what the actual rating realy is, seriously!! Thanks for reply in advance…

I would use Avvo profile as appossed to other legal referrals out there I am speaking form personnel experience and the ratings come pretty close to what their are rated. Seriously!!
